We had our third class of Theatre Workshop today. After learning the history and basics of acting and theatre, today we moved on to Dramatic Monologues, and speech. As we were taught, speech and projection are highly important in theatre. We all read out soliloqueys from famous plays. I read Juliet's soliloquey in Romeo and Juliet. Afterwards, we had to tell a story of our own. Our teacher showed us how we gesture and emote in everyday speech, and how to act more natural and honest when speaking.
